In order to study the working and web/complaint portal of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, a high ranking delegation of Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) attended a training workshop, here in Lahore. The delegation comprised Ghulam Bashir Mughal, Secretary Industries Labour and Mineral Resources, Sharif Qureshi, Director Industries & Commerce and Zahid Mahmood Gillani.

Commissioner OPC Afzal Bhatti informed the members of the delegation that OPC is a flagship initiative of Chief Minster Punjab and the reason behind the establishment of OPC was to redress the grievances of overseas Pakistanis related to government agencies.

Director General OPC Nadeem Sarwar briefed the participants regarding functions of the OPC. Badar Munir from Punjab Information Technology Board delivered comprehensive briefing about complaint/web portal and answered various queries of the participants.

Secretary Industries Labour and Mineral Resources AJK appreciated that OPC Punjab has developed a transparent and speedy online system to redress the grievances of Overseas Pakistanis. He desired to start this system in AJK in a month after doing necessary legislation.
