A boy on Thursday shot dead a girl and then himself on the premises of Social Security Hospital Islamabad in the limits of Shams Colony Police Station. Police said that Bilal Asif, 24, shot dead Amara Khan, 23 at Social Security Hospital, Shams Colony and then shot himself. Asif opened fire at Amara when she was waiting for her practical examination at hospital. Police said Amara was a student of Bhara Kahu Medical Dental College.

Police after receiving information reached to the scene and shifted both to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their bullet injuries. Both were the residents of Mianwali.
