IGI Insurance Limited has decided to acquire up to 2.397 million right shares of its associated firm Tri-Pack Films Limited, a stock filing said Thursday. Approved by the company's board in its December 30's meeting, the transaction would be made at a subscription price of Rs 125 per share. This also includes Rs 115 per share premium. Given the agreed rate, the IGI's planned investment in Tri-Pack Films stands at Rs 299.62m. "The Board has decided that company will... subscribe up to 2,397,002 right shares of Tri-Pack," said IGI's company secretary Abdul Haseeb.
