This is apropos a Business Recorder editorial titled "What actually ails PSEs?" carried by the newspaper on Tuesday. The PSM would like to clarify that it was revived with the package, which helped it achieve 65 percent production capacity (on 12th March 2015), but gas was disrupted next day affecting many plants and reducing monthly capacity utilisation to 42 percent. Had timely provision of working capital deficit been made (Rs 4.5 billion in November 2014), PSM would have been running at high capacity.
