The 23rd Palmolive Sindh Women's Swimming Championship came to an end on Sunday at Karachi Parsi Institute, with a total of 50 events held over two days. This competition was organised by Karachi Women's Swimming Association (KWSA) and sponsored by Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Ltd. The final prize distribution ceremony was graced by Mrs Ronak Lakhani, Chairperson of Special Olympics Pakistan and Executive Member of the International Special Olympics, as the chief guest.

Omer Qadri, Associate Director (Marketing) of Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Ltd, also graced the occasion with his presence. The success of this two-day event lay in the continued participation of highly competitive and enthusiastic participants. In all, 224 children and 14 institutions took part, and set new standards of record-breaking excellence through excellent sportsmanship, setting the bar high for next year. Karachi Grammar School was the overall group champion with 374 points. Karachi Club followed in the runner's up position with 131 points, and Bayview Academy bagged the third position with 111 points.-PR
