Qaim Ali Shah also complained actions were being taken in Sindh by bypassing him even though he was captain of the operation. He questioned whether all the rules and laws are only meant for Sindh province as the NAP was not implemented in any other province. The Chief Minister also said that he would like to know the status of his government insofar as the implementation of the NAP in the province is concerned.
The Prime Minister's response was that "law and order situation has improved in Karachi because of you" and assured him that no unlaw measure would be taken in the province. Nawaz Sharif added that all state institutions will have to remain on the same page to expedite activities against terrorists and corrupt elements. He further stated that collective wisdom must prevail while taking decisions for making a total success all points of the national action plan.
He asserted that all agencies must be vigilant and improve their capacity to overcome the menace of terrorism. He said the NAP was approved by the political and military leadership with consensus in the light of 21st Constitutional amendment and the decisions taken at an All-Party Conferences (APC). He said it is our collective responsibility to join hands for complete success of the plan. Nawas Sharif directed to take result-oriented measures. The meeting was attended by the provincial Governors, Chief Ministers, AJK Prime Minister Abdul Majeed, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, heads of intelligence agencies and Chairman Nadra.
