Terming Kashmir an unfinished agenda of the Partition, Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Raheel Sharif said on Wednesday Pakistan and Kashmir are inseparable. Addressing participants of a course at the National Defence University (NDU) here, he said, "While we wish peace, stability in region, we want Kashmir's just resolution in the light of United Nations resolutions and as per the aspirations of Kashmiris to bring a lasting peace in region."

The CoAS said that noteworthy achievements of Pak Armed Forces in the ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb have created space for a decisive surge against terrorists in urban areas. He said an enhanced civil-military Co-ordination has become even more critical to achieve a successful closure, DG ISPR, Asim Saleem Bajwa tweeted on social media.

General Raheel Sharif said that contours of future wars are fast changing, adding, "while our enemies supporting terrorism to stoke sub conventional conflicts and destabilise our country." He said that the armed forces are fully determined and capable to defeat nefarious designs. Pakistan is opposed to use proxies against other countries and it won't allow any country to use proxies against it, he added.
