Defence Minster Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Sunday reiterated the government's commitment to wipe out terrorism completely. Some anti-state elements were trying to create chaos through their nasty activities just to destabilise the country, he said.

Addressing a public meeting in a border village Kingraha area, he alleged that terrorists were being patronised by India just to create unrest and to destabilise the country adding that terrorists and India are on the same page.

Asif said that operation against terrorists would continue till the hunting of last terrorist and country will be made safe heaven, adding Pak army was playing an instrumental role in rooting out the terrorists and operation against terrorists and their hideouts was successfully underway. Khawaja Asif disclosed that development work on Sialkot-Lahore Expressway costing Rs 56 billion will soon be carried out. He assured the people that government was fully aware about the problems and difficulties living along with working boundary.
