Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Husain reacted very strongly to the allegations leveled by a senior police officer, warning of a bloodshed if "reign of terror" against his party continued. In his late night address, he also severely criticized the Sindh government, armed forces and intelligence agencies, asking his workers to undergo military training on a daily basis.

He called upon the army chief to help remove injustice from society. Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain said the people at the helm of affairs in Pakistan declare him an agent of RAW-India's central intelligence agency-every other day, a private television reported on Friday. Talking to the party workers and sympathizers in an overnight address, he said, "I urge on the RAW to support us once and for all and uncover the faces of their true agents in Pakistan," asserting that neither the country nor 'your swagger sticks' will remain if the due rights are not given.

Altaf Hussain remarked that bloodshed threats were tendered to the MQM when a separate province was demanded, remarking, "I am an ardent proponent of peace; hence, my point needs to be reckoned with." Reacting to the yesterday's press conference by a police official, Rao Anwaar who leveled outrageous allegations against the MQM, Altaf Hussain derogatorily termed him as Bhangi (sweeper), adding the efforts are afoot to turn up his patron (Bhangio Ka Incharge).
