China's president Xi Jinping will arrive in Pakistan on April 9 for a two-day visit. During his stay in Pakistan, the Chinese dignitary will meet the civil and military leadership of Pakistan and sign various agreements.

According to the sources, The Chinese President will arrive on 9th of April and will meet President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) during the visit. He is also expected to meet leaders of national political parties of Pakistan.

A high-level delegation of Chinese officials will also accompany the Chinese President.

The Chinese President is expected to sign various agreements in various fields, including communication, energy and broadcast. He will also inaugurate the Gwadar Port, the Pak-China Economic Corridor, One Belt One Road and various other projects.

President Xi Jinping is also expected to visit Saudi Arabia and Egypt after Pakistan. It is pertinent to mention here that Chinese President Xi's visit to Pakistan had been cancelled in September due to PTI and PAT sit-ins in Islamabad.
