An officer of the Police Services of Pakistan, Tahir Alam Khan, has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) operation with additional charge of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad.

Sources said that DIG Tahir Alam Khan from Sindh has been appointed as DIG operation with additional charge of IGP. Tahir Alam Khan earlier served as DIG and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) operation Islamabad.
