Editor-in-chief of Nawa-e-Waqt, The Nation and Waqt News Dr Majid Nizami died on Friday night after protracted illness. He was 86. Majid Nizami, who was a younger brother of Nawa-e-Waqt founder Hameed Nizami and uncle of Arif Nizami, joined the publishing house after his brother's death. He was student of law in UK before he took charge of the Newspaper. He was a recipient of several national awards. His Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered at Lawrence Garden on Saturday (today) morning.
