Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud hoped that relationship between both the brotherly countries Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will further strengthen. Prime Minister said that Saudi Arabia is playing a unique and irreplaceable role in the Muslim world. It was agreed between the two leaders that high-level exchanges between the two countries were essential for further deepening of relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The Crown Prince responded that Pakistan was like his second home. Earlier, the Crown Prince warmly received the Prime Minister and welcomed him to Saudi Arabia. He also conveyed his greetings to the Prime Minister on performance of Umrah. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to him for his sentiments and thanked him for the hospitality extended during his visit. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Hussain Nawaz.
The Prime Minister also called on Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier, Advisor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques here Monday night. On his arrival for the meeting the Prime Minister was very warmly welcomed by the Prince Muqrin.
Both the leaders discussed bilateral and regional issues. They expressed complete satisfaction over the relationship between two brotherly countries. Both the leaders agreed that relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are excellent at all levels and the bond of brotherhood has transcended the vicissitudes of time. It was agreed that both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy commonality of views on regional and international matters. The Prime Minister said that relationship was not based on political expediency; rather it is etched deep in the hearts of every Pakistani and Saudi national.
