On Eastern borders, Indian Border Security Forces reportedly resorted to unprovoked firing on Pakistani rangers posts in Charwah sector near Sialkot on Wednesday morning. Pakistani forces in retaliation effectively responded to Indian firing. No loss of life was reported. It has not been confirmed by the ISPR. The Times of India website reported that one of its BSF guards was killed and three others, including civilians, wounded in firing from the Pakistani side of the border.
