Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) Chief, Pir Pagara, met former president Pervaiz Musharraf at the latter's place of stay in Karachi on Friday, PML-F leader Kamran Tessori said. Pir Pagara visited former president to inquire about his health; he also presented a bouquet to him. Musharraf, who is also chief of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), and Pir Pagara discussed matters of mutual interest and overall situation of the country.

Meanwhile, in a rare public address after indictment on treason charges, former president Pervez Musharraf said everyone should first think about Pakistan. He was addressing the participants, through a telephonic address to a rally taken out by All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) workers at Do Talwaar in Clifton. The rally was taken out in his support. Musharraf said Pakistan was passing through a critical phase. "You are witnessing whatever is going on in courts," he said He reiterated that whatever he did during his rule was in the interest of Pakistan.
