Former president Pervez Musharraf's ailing mother was admitted to a Sharjah Hospital on Saturday when her condition worsened suddenly. According to a UAE newspaper, Musharraf's 95-year-old mother Zareen Musharraf was taken to W Wilson Specialised Hospital in Sharjah when her condition suddenly deteriorated.

Reportedly, she is suffering from a breathing difficulty which can lead to heart problems. The spokesperson for All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) has urged people to pray for the health of Musharraf's mother. Spokesperson said it is unclear as of now whether or not Musharraf will be given permission to visit his mother.
