Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan on Sunday contacted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan over phone and exchanged views on the ongoing talks with the Taliban. Sources said that in wake of the contact between the two leaders, a meeting between Imran Khan and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was also expected.

They said that the minister contacted the PTI chief on the instructions of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.-INP

Our reporter adds: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan discussed the situation emerged after the Islamabad district court attack.

A spokesman for Imran Khan said that Chaudhry Nisar and Imran Khan were in touch with each other over the past one month. Both the leaders also held a meeting last week, he added.
