Top security officials including the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad and IGP on Saturday said they cannot provide security to Pervez Musharraf, during hearing of judges' house arrest case, in the court, a private TV channel reported. The Special court had demanded reply from the Interior Ministry, Chief Commissioner, and IG of Islamabad police, over Pervez Musharraf's plea before the court, in judges' house arrest case.

"Pervez Musharraf has received threats from the banned outfits and it is feared that they could launch an attack on the former president during a hearing in the court," said the police in the report, adding, "Under the prevailing circumstances, foolproof security arrangements are not possible,"

The Chief Commissioner of Islamabad has also replied the same and said sorry over former president's security issue. The administration and police have advised the court to conduct hearing of case, against Pervez Musharraf, at his farmhouse, Red Zone or any other safe place. After receiving reply of the Interior Ministry, the court would decide on granting permission to former president or otherwise. The court will resume hearing of the case on December 20.
