The offer enables Telenor Talkshawk subscribers consuming a balance of at least Rs 200 per month to avail life insurance ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 100,000 for the next month, depending on their monthly mobile usage. Talkshawk subscribers can avail this free of cost service by simply dialing *345*101 from their mobile phones.
"Talkshawk Mohafiz Zindagi Beema is yet another unique service to provide absolute convenience to the customers while protecting them from financial worries as a result of unforeseen events", said Javaid. He further said that Talkshawk Mohafiz Zindagi Beema's policy plan gives non-exclusion of insurance cover to its subscribers in all cases, irrespective of the cause of death. Insurance claims will be payable to a pre-defined beneficiary or legal title holder. Only the prepaid customers can avail the facility by dialing *345*101.
The consumers may avail Rs 20,000 insurance benefit by spending of Rs 200 to Rs 300 and up to Rs 100,000 coverage by spending Rs 900 or more per month. The coverage limit depends only on the airtime spend (balance consumption) in the previous month. No paperwork is required for this service. In addition, there is no need to visit any Telenor Centre for enrolment, Javaid added. Further, he said that there is no age limit. The customer has to be a registered SIM user with a valid CNIC. A legitimate claim will be settled within seven working days of submission of simple documents.
