KARACHI: The futures spreads increased by 13 basis points (bps) to 5.92 percent during the outgoing week ended May 24, 2013. Trading activity on the futures counter also witnessed upward trend and average daily volumes surged by 33 percent to 22.81 million shares. In addition, with an increase of 41.4 percent, the average daily trading value mounted to Rs 2.365 billion.
