A delegation of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) headed by Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G Ebrahim will meet Baloch leaders on Thursday (today) in Quetta. It is a part of the ECP strategy to visit provincial capitals to hold a meeting with the leaders of the main stream political parties.

The objective of the strategy is to convince political leaders and political workers to make voters of their respective constituencies aware, especially women voters, of the advantages of casting their vote. This way the average of votes cast could be increased, an official of ECP said. The delegation headed by CEC will also hold meetings with the National Parties including Balochistan National Party Awami, BNP-Mengal, Hazara Democratic Party, Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, JUI-F, PML-N, ANP, PTI, JI and other Baloch leaders in Quetta.
