The 11th meeting of Vice Chancellors Committee will be held on Monday (today) at a local hotel to discuss the issues and challenges being faced by the public sector universities. The meeting will be headed by the Chairman of the VCs Committee and Vice Chancellor of University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar, Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani.

The vice chancellors from 72 public sector universities across the country will be present on the occasion. The committee will issue a declaration after its meeting keeping in view the recommendations of the vice chancellors.

The committee will also pay tribute to the services of former Executive Director HEC Dr Sohail H Naqvi for his valuable contribution toward the progress of Higher Education Commission (HEC).
