The report of the Judicial Commission on Abbottabad raid of May 02, 2011, is likely to be presented to Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Monday (today), it was learnt. Sources said the 400-page report of the commission on the US raid wherein al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed, would be presented to the Prime Minister by chairman of the commission, former Justice Javed Iqbal, on Monday.

The commission had completed the report in October this year, however, it could not be presented to the government as one of its members was unable to sign it for being out of the country for treatment.

The sources said that after signing the report by Abbas Khan after his comeback from the US, the report was 100 percent ready to be presented to the government. The sources said that the chairman of the commission would likely to address a press conference to share with media the working of the commission.

To a question whether the report would also be made public, a source said that it would be decided by the government whether to make it public or not. In its report, the sources said that the commission had recommended registration of FIR against Dr Shakil Afridi under treason charges, who had administered fake vaccination drive to trace Osama bin Laden before he was killed in the US operation. The report stated that Dr Afridi had been paid $10,000 to provide US intelligence agencies with information on OBL's whereabouts.

Statements of around 300 witnesses has also been made part of the report. Besides, the sources said that the materials in Arabic language including the reported diary of Osama bin Laden and computer discs found from his compound have been translated.
