Severe cold conditions will continue to prevail in different parts of the country and more isolated rain with snowfall over the hills is likely at Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Hazara Division and adjoining hilly areas during the next 24 hours. According to the synoptic situation, a shallow trough of westerly wave is prevailing over northern areas of the country and likely to persist during next 36 hours.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of Punjab and Islamabad during next 24 hours. Foggy conditions likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab during night/morning hours. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, mainly cold to very cold and dry weather is expected in most parts and shallow foggy conditions are likely to prevail over Peshawar division during late night /morning hours. Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of Sindh and Balochistan. Shallow Foggy conditions will prevail over Sukkur division during night/morning hours. The lowest minimum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were Kalat -13C, Parachinar -11C, Quetta -10C, Murree -05C, Gupis and Hunza -04C, Drosh, Skardu, Astore and Malamjabba -03C.
