The Provincial Secretary to Information Noor Mohammad Leghari has urged upon the management of private organisations, commercial institutes to come forward and patronised the indigenous and folk Sindhi wrestling as they are encouraging the other games. He said that this act would not only to promote the indigenous folk game but also to be source of better communication with masses and promote their organisations as well.

This he said while talking with media men at Malakhra stadium Bhitshah, where he attended the 2nd day of Malakhra on the eve of 269th Annual Urs Celebrations of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (RA) as chief guest on Saturday. He said that Sindhi folk wrestling Malh was a unique game that reflects the determination to gain the strength in every field of life. He said that government it self was encouraging the players of this game by providing maximum platforms, opportunities of demonstration with in the country and abroad. He said that in old days, the opinion leader and the philanthropist of Sindh had being patronising the folk wrestler and vocalists/ singers, but now the such trend has been diminished.

He said that it was present government that has made the sports activities and holding of Sindh games regularly and Sindhi wrestling was also one of them. Leghari also advised the educated Malh players to reorganise their fraternity and work for their welfare as well. Syed Hassan Shah Deputy Director Sports welcomed the chief guest and also decorated him with traditionally gift of Sindhi Topi and Ajrak.
