A couple and their son have died due to gas leakage in their room in Musa Colony at night between Friday and Saturday. Police sources said that a family did not switch off gas heater in their room after the city was experiencing bitter cold weather due to minus 10 Celsius temperature. The couple and their son died after the room was filled with gas.

The dead were identified as Javed, his wife Shaista Bibi and their son Raheel. The police shifted the bodies to hospital for autopsy those later were handed over to the heirs.
