Punjab government has allotted houses in Aashiyana Quaid Housing scheme to 46 such persons whose applications had earlier been rejected due to various reasons and the applicants had removed these objections through an appeal. According to an official here on Friday, a ceremony was held in this connection, which was presided over by Chairman Board of Director of Punjab Land Development Company (PLDC), Sheikh Allauddin.

During the ceremony, houses were allotted to 46 persons through computerise balloting. PLDC Chief Executive Officer Tahir Khurshid and a large number of applicants attended the function. On the occasion, Sheikh Allauddin said the applications of these 46 applicants had been rejected due to some reasons.
