Ittehad Tanzeemat Madaris Pakistan (ITMP) on Friday organised a protest demonstration on Hazoori Bagh road to condemn the killing of innocent students of religious seminaries, surprise raids on the religious institutions and harassment of teaching staff as well as students. ITMP Secretary General Qari Muhammad Hanif Jhulandari said, "We would not let anyone to harass the teachers and students of religious seminaries in the guise of security."

He said the government would have to change its policies and mindset against Ulema and religious institutions otherwise three million students would be on roads to protect their career.
