Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has felicitated the Palestinian people over having been granted the status of non-member state by the United Nations. In his felicitation message, he said that the approval of resolution in UN to grant non-member state status to Palestine, with a thumping majority, is a significant step towards independence and self-autonomy of people of Palestine.

He said that the people of Palestine have borne indescribable pain, and given innumerable sacrifices, to achieve their independence, for the last six decades. Nawaz Sharif said that people of Pakistan are proud of their vigorous and complete support to the just struggle of independence of Palestinian people and this support would always continue to be the basic principle of our national policy.
