Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has resigned from the office of Punjab Sports Board (PSB) Chairman. Sources said that the resignation of Hamza Shahbaz has been accepted by the competent authority. It may be noted that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has restrained Hamza Shahbaz from addressing public meetings at Narowal and Gujranwala due to holding the office of PSB chairman.

Afterward, Hamza had resigned from the office PSB Chairman Thursday night. A PML-N spokesman said the party's public meetings already scheduled in connection with bye-elections in Narowal and Gujranwala will be held as per schedule.
