Bearish sentiment was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday in process of small business, dealers said. On the cereals side, Makai drifted lower by Rs 25 to Rs 2575 and 2600 due to steady arrivals, other commodity items did not fluctuate sharply due to balanced demand and supply, they said.

On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (Old) gained Rs 50 to Rs 450 and Rs 500, cottonseeds oilcake with bag (new) inferior type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 900 and the best type was lower by Rs 35 to Rs 950, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams and seeds sides, they said.
