Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Monday claimed to have arrested 10 felons including two target killers in separate raids at various parts of the metropolis. According to police and rescue sources, a grandson of Jannat Gul namely Tariq Gul was apprehended with his other accomplices in targeted raid at Jannat Gul Town.

DSP Iftikhar Lodhi said that they had recovered two pistols from them and added that the accused Tariq, who was the grandson of Jannat Gul, was allegedly involved in the killings of four persons during armed clash at Sohrab Goth on first Ramazan.

Meanwhile, Maripur police claimed to have nabbed some eight notorious criminals including two target killers during a raid at 500-Quarters and Ali Village. Police said they had recovered weapons and narcotics from their possession. SHO Shafiq Tanoli said that two notorious target killers namely Mohammad Shah and Mehram Rustam, who were nominated in over 20 murder cases, were among other detainees. Further investigation is underway.
