KARACHI: The total outlay of Federal Budget 2012-13 is estimated to be around Rs3 trillion while the date for presentation of the budget will be finalised by today (Monday), a private TV channel reported on Sunday. The meeting of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) was held under the chairmanship of Federal Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, wherein preparations of the next year's budget were reviewed, besides setting the tax collection target.

According to the channel, the Minister said that earlier May 25 was approved as the date for presentation of the budget, but now June 1, 2012 is being considered for the purpose.
