This includes development outlay of Rs 350.2 billion federal and Rs 475 billion provincial. The size of the foreign assistance component has been estimated Rs 120 billion for the next fiscal year. The APCC meeting estimated 4.3 percent growth for the next fiscal year with projection of 4.1 percent growth in agriculture sector and 3.9 percent in the industrial sector. The growth in services sector is estimated at 4.6 percent of the GDP and inflation target has been projected at 10.5 percent in 2012-13 against 9.7 percent provisional estimates for the current fiscal year.
The APCC estimated current account deficit of $5.246 billion for the next fiscal year, trade deficit to be $.16.781 billion and exports of the country has been projected at $25 billion and imports at $42 billion. The total workers remittances are estimated $14.1 billion for the next fiscal year against $13.169 billion for the current fiscal year, oil imports bill projected at $16.962 billion, non-oil imports at $.25.792 billion.
Direct Investment in the country has been estimated $1.940 billion for the next fiscal year and portfolio investment $600 million and other investment liabilities are estimated at $1.147 billion. The meeting projected per barrel oil price $114.9 for the next fiscal year against the $115 per barrel for the on-going fiscal year.
The meeting was informed that growth is expected 3.7 percent for the current fiscal year as against 3 percent achieved during the last year. The wheat crop production is expected to be around 23.2 million tons, which is 2 million tons less than the last year production.
The APCC projected investment at 13.2 percent for the next fiscal year against the provisional target of 12.5 per cent for the current fiscal year and national savings 11.1 percent against 10.7 percent provisional target for the current fiscal year.
An official said Rs 27 billion would be spent through special programs like Peoples Works Programme and an amount of Rs 10 billion has been earmarked for Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA).
Corporations would get Rs 98 billion for development, Wapda Rs 48 billion and federal government would utilise Rs 44 billion for water-related development programme. The APCC meeting was attended by all federal secretaries of the ministries/divisions, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (representing Fata), representatives of all four provinces, AJK and Gilgit Baltistan.
