Fifteen-day Urs celebrations at the shrine of Sufi saint Hazrat Baba Fareed Uddin Masood Ganj Shakar (RA) have been started from Tuesday and will continue till December 7 in Pakpattan. Security has been tightened around the shrine for 769th annual Urs celebrations to avoid any untoward incident, private news channel reported.

Walk-through gates have been installed at entrance and exit points following the last year bombing incident. Close circuit cameras have been also installed for surveillance. The special gate termed as 'Beheshti Darwaza' (paradise door) will be opened on December 2 for general public.
