A delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) led by Dr Farooq Sattar on Wednesday met Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and discussed with him the situation arising out Dr Zulfiqar Mirza's statements. The meeting took place at Prime Minister's House in the Federal Capital. The MQM team also included Babar Ghauri and Nadeem Ahsan.

PPP ministers Rehman Malik, Khurshid Shah and Dr Asim Hussain were also present on the occasion. During the meeting, MQM delegation asked PPP leadership to clarify its position in relation to its relationship with Dr Zulfiqar Mirza. The delegation also asked him whether the government was with Zulfiqar Mirza or not? The PM asked Rahman Malik to take measures to redress MQM's complaints.
