The government is ready for dialogue with Baloch leaders, whether in or out of the country, said Prime Minister (PM) Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Sunday. Addressing a meeting of the PPP Lahore Division at the Governor House, he said the government wants to bring the Baloch leaders into mainstream politics. Gilani said that foreign elements in Balochistan are disrupting peace there.

He said the PPP wanted to reopen the case of judicial murder of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and emphasized that lawyers in the party should set up a team in this regard. The PM directed Interior Minister Rehman Malik to hold a thorough investigation into the murder case of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and make the report public. He also said the Prime Minister's Hepatitis Programme was being implemented across the country and added that doctors in the PPP should share their expertise with the government to formulate an effective strategy in this regard.

Gilani hinted that a Board of Governors could also be set up for the hepatitis programme to ensure its smooth running. He asked his party's workers to gear up in carrying out the mission of Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
