Two former officials of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) and a freelance journalist have gone missing in South Waziristan Agency. The three were returning after meeting Taliban leaders, a private TV channel reported Monday. According to the channel, the missing ISI officials accompanied the journalist to assist him in filming a documentary on Taliban and al Qaeda.

The abducted officials have been identified as Colonel Imam (Retd) and Sq Leader Khalid Khawaja (Retd) while the freelance journalist as Asad Qureshi. Unknown persons allegedly picked them up when they were returning after meeting the Taliban leadership. It is not clear as to who has kidnapped them, the channel added.
