Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine held the convocation 2010 for the graduating batches at an impressive ceremony held at the Bahria Auditorium, Karachi. Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan, Governor Sindh was the chief guest on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest facilitated the graduating batches on being awarded degrees in the discipline of Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University of Karachi. A total of 89 students were conferred degrees. The event was attended by a large number of dignitaries and guests apart from the students of the college and their parents.

Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan lauded the efforts of Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine in establishing itself as a premier institution in dentistry in Pakistan within a short span of seven years. He emphasised on the students to develop a strong sense of dedication to serve the cause of humanity and take pride in their professional work.

In his report, the Principal, DrMuhammad Altamash highlighted the achievements of the institute in the last 6 years in which it has been recognised by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan and is well on its way to being placed on the list of World Health Organization as one of the premier educational institutes in Pakistan.

Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui, Vice Chancellor University of Karachi, emphasized on the graduating students to step into their profession with core values of service to humanity and dedication. He expressed his complete satisfaction with the educational standard of the institute and the facilities extended to the students.

The Principal, Dr Muhammad Altamash presented mementos and souvenirs to the Chief Guest and Vice Chancellor Karachi University at the end of the convocation. The ceremony was followed by dinner and musical programme, which enthralled the audience.-PR
