An Additional Sessions Judge Lahore Chaudhry Salim here Saturday sought record from Sarwar Road Police station by February 3, in an application seeking registration of a case against the Chief Secretary Punjab Javed Mahmood in Colonel Ikram (Retd) death case.

The applicant Azam Ikram, son of the deceased, contended that Chief Secretary's car hit the motorcycle of his father and Chief Secretary, along with his driver Ghulam Murtaza fled from the scene, instead of taking his father to hospital. He said had his father taken to hospital timely, he would survive. He also said the police were also not listening to their complaint, as they were reluctant to implicate a top bureaucrat in the case.
