He said the UNDP team had a meeting with the trainers of the academy and participants belonging to every walk of life from different districts of Sindh, who were also the elected representatives of local governments and government functionaries. The participants expressed their views about the GBGS training and gave suggestions for further improvement.
The DG SCSLGA said the guests and participants were welcomed and a presentation about the academy and the project in-hand in collaboration with UNDP and Asian Development Bank, highlighting achievement of the given targets, was given. Toshiro Tanaka, Country Director UNDP Pakistan and Ms Faiza Effandi, Assistant Country Leader UNDP in their concluding remarks highly appreciated the event organised with full decorum and services rendered by the academy.
