"The company would allot the industrial plots in Pasdec industrial estate "Marble City Risalpur", through a transparent balloting system," it added. At least 199 industrial plots in multiple categories, ranging from 8 kanals, 4 kanals and 2 kanals, respectively will be allocated to the applicants through a transparent balloting system.
Marble City Risalpur is an industrial estate for marble and granite processing that spreads across 186 acres land and is a junction point to major quarry clusters of Bunner, Fata, Mingora, Dir, Mansehra and Chitral. The place is a cutting edge stone technology industrial estate, having custom facilities and first class service, it added.
The statement said Marble City Risalpur would generate direct and indirect employment opportunities for locals. Besides, the stone wastage will reduce from 62 percent to 25 percent during the processing of square dimension blocks, it said adding that the exports of value added finished marble and granite products to international markets would enhance the export quantum of marble.
Marble City Risalpur will have a Common Facility and Training Centre (CFTC) for training local work force and technicians to process square dimensions blocks in to slabs, polish and cut to size on the state of art production lines to international standards.
The place will also have a Mosque, display centre, first-aid centre, laboratory, guest house, commercial shopping centre, bank and warehouse facility spread across 2.5 acres for storing raw blocks, excavated from the quarries and finished products.
