The Oxford University Press (OUP) Pakistan is organising a workshop on English course for pre-primary and classes 1 to 8 on January 30. An official of the institution said here on Friday that was a part of the ongoing teachers training programme the OUP was conducting. The workshop is for teachers on the English series, New Oxford Modern English.

It was pointed out that the New Oxford Modern English, written by Nicholas Horsburgh, was a complete English course for primary and secondary schools, which provided a clear, structured progression from kindergarten to class eight. The series is the revised edition of Oxford Modern English, a popular English-course used successfully by teachers and pupils for over two decades.
