The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has asked its members to submit proposals for the federal and the provincial budgets for the year 2010-2011 by February 15, 2010. The LCCI Acting President, Faisal Iqbal Sheikh and Convenor Standing Committee on Finance and Taxation Shahzad Azam Khan said the proposals should be relating to Sales Tax or VAT, Income Tax, Federal Excise Duty, Customs Duty, Rationalisation of Taxes and Duties and Rationalisation of Withholding Tax Regime.

The last date for submission of budget proposals is February 15, 2010 and should be forwarded to Convenor LCCI Standing Committee on Finance and Taxation and Research and Development Department so that the same could be forwarded to the federal and provincial governments well in time for their incorporation in the budgets.
