A 22-member delegation of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has signed two memorandum of understandings and finalised a number of trade agreements with Kenya and South Africa. The delegation that was headed by the LCCI Executive Committee Member Dr Shahid Raza returned here on Friday.

The delegation had a number of high-profile meetings aimed at highlighting the soft image of the country and for giving boost to bilateral trade. Apart from business community, the delegation had meeting with the High Commissioner/Commercial Counsellor of Pakistan in Nairobi and also visited Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry to have one-to-one meeting with their Kenyan counterparts. Commenting on the business tour of the LCCI members, the LCCI Acting President Faisal Iqbal Sheikh hoped that the visit would further strengthen Pakistan's trade ties with Kenya and South Africa.
