The Pharmacy Department of Jinnah Hospital, Lahore is organising the 1st International Conference "Jinnah Hospital Pharmacy Practices" at Allama Iqbal Medical College from February 5th to 7th 2010. It was announced by the Chairperson Organising Committee Professor Dr Javed Akram (Principal AIMC/JHL), here on Friday.

He said that the theme of this conference is "Multidisciplinary approach in medication usage", in which huge number of delegates and drug experts from home and abroad will gather and deliver their presentations in the conference. He further said that this conference will not only provide a spectacular platform for the dispersal of information and knowledge about pharmacy practices amongst doctors, pharmacists and nurses/paramedics but will also help to build high standards of quality pharmacy practices for patients.

He said that our team is committed to put together a scientific programme, which would truly reflect this theme. He said that it would be an important message throughout the country and world that Government of the Punjab is committed for provision of modern hospital pharmacy practices to the masses.
