The heirs of deceased of Ashura blast tragedy were handed over compensation cheques of Rs 0.5 million each at a ceremony held at the Chief Minister's House on Friday. Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said investigation into Ashura day bomb blast was moving in the right direction and as soon as it would be completed, people would be taken into confidence.

Expressing his grief and sorrow over the tragedy and condoling with the bereaved families, the Chief Minister said the tragedy occurred on a very important day of the Ashura and precious lives were lost. Investigations were underway to catch the culprits.
