Grams prices were higher on the local grain market on Wednesday in process of slow trading, dealers said. On the grams side gram 50x50 was sharply higher by Rs 200 to Rs 4350-4550, gram dal low quality followed same trend, rising Rs 100 to Rs 5000 while the best type did not show any change at Rs 5100.

Yellow peas Canada gained Rs 50 to Rs 2925-3075, yellow peas dal Canada also up by Rs 75 to Rs 3275-3425 and bajra low type was down by Rs 100 to Rs 1850 while the best type was unchanged at Rs 2800, they added. On the rice side Irri-6 Sindh quoted lower at Rs 2780-2810, other types maintained the same levels in process of trading, they said. On the cereals side barley Sindh and Mardan lost Rs 50 to Rs 2350, other items did not show any change due to balanced demand and supply position, they said.
