Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said that controlling inflation and price hike are the priority areas before the government for which all out efforts would be made. He appreciated the efforts of Ministry of Finance towards reviving country's economy, which was severely affected due to militancy and terrorism.

The prime minister expressed these views at a meeting with Federal Minister for Finance, Shaukat Tarin who called on him here on Tuesday and briefed him on the overall economic situation in the country. The prime minister further said that optimum utilisation of available economic resources would greatly facilitate in achieving the requisite economic growth targets.-PR
