On Monday, the BRIndex30 opened at 8,735.06 points and, after exhibiting a fluctuating trend throughout the market time, closed at 8,709.72 points with a negative change of -25.34 points, or -0.29 percent. It experienced intra-day high of 8,769.31 and low of 8,695.44 points. The volume was 124,787,941 shares, which was 71.10 percent of KSE All Share and 95.01 percent of KSE-100 index.

The volumes for KSE All Share and KSE-100 were 175,506,992 and 131,344,800 shares, respectively. BR Technology and Communication Index closed at 652.84 with a net positive change of 6.09 points or 0.94 percent. Its volume was 33,142,307 shares. BR Commercial Banks Index closed at 2,857.18 recording a positive change of 3.2 points or 0.11 percent and volume of 26,927,616 shares.

BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,611.03 with a net negative change of -3.82 points or -0.24 percent. Volume was 6,386,054 shares. BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 2,233.77 recording a net negative change of -16.47 points or -0.73 percent. The volume was 6,126,805 shares. BR Cement Index closed at 759.76 with a net negative change of -2.61 points or -0.34 percent registering volume of 4,478,576 shares.
